Privacy Policy
The Firm takes your privacy seriously.  The Firm may collect and store any personal information that you knowingly provide to the Firm, as well as information that the Firm automatically receives from your browser or device.  The Firm may communicate with you if you’ve provided it with the means to do so, unless you inform the Firm that you do not want to receive such communications.  The Firm does not rent or sell your personal information to anyone.  The Firm may share the personally identifiable information you provide with third parties, but only as necessary to provide any services that you have requested.  In addition, the Firm may share information with third parties on a non-personal or aggregated basis such that any individual would not be able to be identified.

You may contact the Firm at info@brewerlane.com to learn about what personal information of yours is being processed by the Firm, to request access to such information, to rectify your inaccurate personal information in the Firm’s possession, and/or to request erasure of some or all of your personal data in the Firm’s systems.  In order to allow the Firm to comply with your request, you may need to provide the Firm with personal data or other information, for example, to verify your identity and the nature of your request.  Please note that the Firm may not always be able to fully comply with your request, for example, if the Firm is required to retain certain information about you in order to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Submissions to the Firm
Due to the large number of business plan ideas and related materials that the Firm reviews, and the similarity of many such plans and materials, the Firm cannot agree to obligations of confidentiality or non-disclosure with regard to information you submit via this website except as the Firm may otherwise specifically agree with you in a written agreement that is validly signed by or on behalf the Firm.  By submitting information or materials to the Firm (whether via this website, via email or otherwise), you and anyone acting on your behalf agree that any such information or materials will not be considered confidential or proprietary.

No Warranty

Under no circumstances will the Firm or its affiliates be liable for any consequential, incidental, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of any use of or inability to use this website or any portion thereof, regardless of whether the Firm or its affiliates have been apprised of the likelihood of such damages occurring and regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise.

Indemnification; Hold Harmless
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold the Firm, its affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages (actual and consequential), losses and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from or in any way related to any third-party claims relating to (a) your use of this website, and (b) your violation of these terms and conditions.

Titles
Although certain individuals may now or in the future be identified on this website as “Partners” or “General Partners,” such titles reflect business usage that is customary within the venture capital and private equity industry and are not intended to indicate that any such individual is actually a partner or general partner of any partnership as those terms are used for legal purposes.
